UB40 Atlanta Concert reviews
UB40 Disappointing!
Well like some others I walked out of the concert and went home. The audio was just not good. Doubt if it was the Au Rene theater - no one would go to concerts there. Did UB40 use their own sound equipment or the theater's?? They must have done a sound check though!?
It wasn't even very loud. I walked to several areas in the theater to see if it was my seat but nowhere did it sound good.
It wasn't just me, I spoke to several people outside who were also leaving appalled at the audio.
I went home and listened to an old "Signing Off" CD. Sounded better at home!
Clearwater venue is not fan friendly
I would not recommend going to see a group at the Clearwater Casino, because even if you pay for front row seats, when "fans" are allowed to come up to the stage to "dance" (not much room between the stage and the front row seats) you can not longer see the group and you will get stepped on if you remain seated. My date has a broken foot, so he was unable to stand after everyone started to dance and people were stepping on his foot, so we left and the casino would do nothing about it. They told us to contact ticketmaster to see what they could do, which is nothing as they are only the seller of the tickets and have nothing to do with how the venue ran the event.
I will not go to this venue again for a concert.
